Hello!

I'm a hands-on project manager with 10+ years of experience in Banking; working for projects in Treasury, Risk, Data Warehousing and Customer Analytics.

I have helped international banks, mid-sized banks, and savings banks with topics around ALM, data warehousing, and customer analytics. Project management, data wrangling, system integrations, and ETL development are very familiar activities.

My core competences lie in the design and implementation of processes and architecture around interest rate risk management, liquidity management and customer analytics. I have hands-on experience in delivering complex projects and meeting the demands of a wide array of stakeholders found in banks.

While I'm at my best in project management type roles, I enjoy working hands-on with the data and the systems relevant to the current project. I have found that the most important User Acceptance Tests are those that I do myself. I run projects at home as well: this site is hosted on my headless home server, along with many other hobby projects.

  • Interest rate risk models (static & dynamic NII and EVE), behavioural modeling of loan prepayments & non-maturing deposits.
  • Software: FIS Ambit Focus, DBeaver, MS SQL Server Management Studio, Teradata Studio, Jira & Confluence, Databricks, and of course Excel & PowerPoint.
